About ( What’s going on?)
Hi, I’m Alex kisby. A filmmaker and writer, cartoonist and occasional animator.
I like lateral thinking when approaching an idea, which involves experimenting with mixed media, such as combining live-action with animation.
I have an MA in filmmaking and a BA in animation.
My graduation comedy short film, “Waitology”, has been screened at several film festivals globally and has received nominations and accolades.
Outside of film, I take experimental photography with a Gameboy camera. I like the challenge it offers, pushing hardware to its limits and using the GB camera in ways it wasn’t really intended.
I also write and draw a series of comic scripts, including “Office Duck.” Side projects like these allow me to explore new creative avenues.
